Services

Kenyon Family Dental combines the most advanced procedures and high tech equipment with individualized treatment. Various treatment options are considered in order to find the right treatment for you. We offer many different types of services including:

  • Crowns- When a tooth is fractured, has a large, old filling, or is severely damaged by decay, the placement of a crown (or cap) may be recommended. Crowns strengthen and protect the remaining tooth structure and can improve the appearance of your smile. Types of crowns include the full porcelain crown, the porcelain-fused-to-metal crown and the all-metal crown.
  • Bridges- Few incidents have greater impact on dental health and personal appearance than tooth loss. When one or more teeth are missing, the remaining teeth can drift out of position, which can lead to a change in the bite, the loss of additional teeth, decay and gum disease. When tooth loss occurs, your dentist may recommend the placement of a bridge. A bridge is one or more replacement teeth anchored by one or more crowns on each side.
  • Root Canals- If your tooth's nerve chamber becomes effected by decay, root canal treatment is often the only way to save your tooth.Inside your tooth's hard outer shell is a nourishing pulp of blood vessels, lymph vessels and nerves. The root canals, which contain the pulp, extend to the bone.
Deep tooth decay, or an injury, can cause serious damage and infection to the pulp's nerves and vessels. Root canal, or endodontic, treatment cleans out the infected pulp chamber and repairs the damage.
  • Adolescent Care- A good appearance is especially important to pre-teens and teens, so it can be easy to motivate them to practice good oral care habits to insure a healthy and beautiful smile. We offer excellent service and education materials for your adolescent to ensre a lifetime of healthy teeth.
  • Tooth Whitening- Just as people have different skin and hair color, people also have different tooth color. Some teeth are more yellow, and some teeth yellow with aging. Natural tooth color can be discolored by a number of causes. The surface of the tooth can be stained by tobacco, certain foods and beverages such as coffee, tea and berries, aging, injury, excessive fluoride, certain illnesses and taking the antibiotic tetracycline during early childhood. We offer many options to help you get back that bright smile!
  • Wisdom Tooth Services- Wisdom teeth (or third molars), are the final teeth to develop. Most of us have four wisdom teeth, one in each corner of the mouth. They usually emerge during our late teens or early twenties.Occasionally, wisdom teeth become entrapped or impacted in the jawbone and cause crowding , displacement, decay, infection or gum disease. We can help to monitor their growth and reccomend different options, should their growth become a problem.
  • Infant Care Services- Although each baby is different, most babies begin teething between six and eight months after birth. The first teeth to appear are typically the two lower front teeth (central incisors) followed by the two upper front teeth.
  • Cosmetic Dentistry-Thanks to advances in modern dental materials and techniques, we can help you attain the smile you have always wanted. The contour, color, and alignment of your teeth can be changed by such cosmetic techniques as bleaching, bonding, veneers, inlays, and orthodontics.

These are just some of the wonderful services we offer! If you don't see what you want, just go to our contact Us page and get in touch.
